OKSCCA Board/Membership Meeting Minutes

February 4, 2013

Board members present were Gary Brown, Al Donovan, John Ederer, Steve Schroeder, Bob Seelig, Michelle Seelig, and Keith Voyles.

1.       Treasurer’s report:

Steve reported $2021.96 in the checking account. Savings account balance is $6671.01. Steve is working the taxes and the charter. Paid $16.95 for OKSCCA.org domain.

Michelle motioned to accept the treasurer’s report, John seconded; motion carried.

2.       Secretary’s report:

150 members as of December.

Gary motioned to accept meeting minutes for December, Al seconded; motion carried.

3.       Club racing report:

There is a Major at Hallett, April 6-7.

4.       SOLO report:

  • SOLO committee members: John Ederer and Scott Bauman co-chairs, Rocky Rutter, Al Donovan, Steve Schroeder, and Jason Judd.
  • The SOLO committee presented their budget. Gary motioned to accept the budget, John seconded; motion passed.
  • April 7 is first event.
  • Waivers need to be kept for 7 years, and minor waivers until the child turns 18 years of age.
  •  

5.       Old Business:

          None.         

6.       New Business:

  • Gary motioned to send a donation to SCCA Foundation in honor of John Saucier, John seconded; motion carried.
  • Discussion was held about having a chili cook-off. The Glass’s are willing to let us have it at their shop. We will discuss dates at the March meeting.

Gary motioned to adjourn, John seconded; meeting adjourned.

Next meeting March 4, 2013, 7:00 p.m., at Swadley’s.
